Baby hammock for babies up to 18 months. Most adults prefer to relax in a hammock after a hard working day – life immediately seems to be easier, spirit and body wind down. Newborns and little children have the same desire. Also babies relax better when they are lying in a hammock, especially in a La Siesta’s Yayita. The Yayita baby hammock is provided with safety belts and certified by the TÜV. The two positions of the Yayita - which can be easily adjusted - respond to the different needs babies have. Picture 1 – closed position: Fidgety and anxious babies or so-called cry-babies feel more comfortable in the closed position of the Yayita hammock. Here they will experience the security they are used to from their mother’s womb and become calm in a natural manner. This effect can be intensified by gentle swaying. Picture 2 – open position: This position is more suited for well-balanced or older babies. It gives babies more space to move and encourages to experience its surroundings. To make sure that the baby is not only secured in the hammock but also warmly bedded, the Yayita is provided with a padded blanket filled either with lamb’s woool or with an easy to clean polyester filling.
